thank you to everyone - Josef

     photosynthesis

under the light of the same sun

we've assigned subjective meaning to our world

though everything - sky, sun, moon is objective

an infinite gap between the mind and the eyes

     ugly facts

     false experts

     deliberate fabrication

those we would least expect to be correct

seek to impose their standards on others

to fit into a narrow definition of beauty

     abandon expectations of being fashionable

a friend recognized me on the street by the birthmark on my leg

and the mole in my eye

desire seen through a queer lens isn't meant to be relatable

     break taboos

capture the hidden dark places in everyone's hearts

     fast food love

I was made aware of my place in society

numbed people awakened by underrepresented problems

finding a balance between equality and freedom

infinite possibilities, deepest desires are revealed in our subconscious

where thoughts and feelings are freed from the constraints of reality

seek new dimensions without limitation of morals,

     cultural and religious rituals.

     images are prayers, holy songs

     symbols of hope?
