While the creative fashion and beauty industries appear to be changing in the face of the powerful social calls for greater diversity and representative equality, it’s hard to know how optimistic - and skeptical - we should be about the future of fashion image-making. This discussion aims at exploring – and possibly answering – that challenge.

In this event organized in collaboration with curator and writer Charlotte Cotton and Great Bowery’s Pete Forester, a panel of creative talent including photographers Paola Kudacki, Hanna Moon, and Joyce Ng, casting director Sarah Benjamin, and curator Shonagh Marshall come together to draw on their individual and shared experiences. The conversation will recognize what has changed, what hasn’t changed, and where there is still work to be done for female representation in fashion’s visual and experiential futures. This event’s panel of voices is led by Charlotte Cotton and will be made richer with your voice and participation.

This event is free and open to the public.
